Our crews have encountered underground obstructions along the main and alternate trenchless boring paths under the Sea to Sky Hwy. The trenchless construction was set to take place with tunneling equipment for the installation of a new trunk sanitary sewer pipe crossing under the Highway 99 at Mamquam Rd.
The project will now call for alternate methodologies to completed the infrastructure installation.
We are a solutions based contractor and we see the trench-less obstruction as an opportunity to put our problem solving to the test.
We are committed to completing the infrastructure upgrade alongside our design and engineering partners at the District of Squamish and Binnie Engineering. Our team is working on alternate solutions, including the open-cutting of the HYW 99 soon.
We acknowledge the patience that the local residents have exercised.
