Since we are in an earth-digging business, doing it safely is always our top priority. Anytime we plan to break ground for our underground utility project we must know exactly where the gas and other utility line locations are.
We had an opportunity to sit down this past Saturday with Jimmy Yip from FortisBC as well as Ronald Enns, utility locator specialist.With 31 employees in attendance, there were lots of great conversations and engagement. From BC 1 Call to mapping systems, WorkSafeBC processes, and understanding the guidelines for locating utilities, it was a great and informative day.
