CUC Designs and Builds Stormwater Diversion Structures Unique to Westmount Creek Area

Each weighing over 38,000 lbs, total of five custom-precast concrete intake structures for storm water redirection are being installed within close proximity of Highway 1.

These intakes will help divert high flows from Westmount Creek during heavy rain events. The excess flows will be diverted into a 1800mm pipe that terminates at an outfall located at the ocean. This is to help prevent flooding of downstream areas.
